The Links Kennedy Bay Golf Club (Formerly: Kennedy Bay The Golf Club)
Description:
Located alongside the blue waters of the Indian Ocean, amongst the charming sand hills of
Port Kennedy the course is similar to many of the classic links courses. Designed by Michael
Coate and the late Roger Mackay in conjunction with Ian Baker-Finch, the course opened in
2000. Set on a series of dune ridges and valleys, this beautifully manicured course has Bent
grass for its greens and Windsor Green grass fairways. Kennedy Bay is typical of British true
links courses and features 115 pot style bunkers and has been designed to test all levels of
players. A strict dress code applies. Visitors are welcome and bookings are essential.
Competition on Saturdays (visitors may play after 12.30pm). Corporate and social bookings are
available 7 days a week.
