Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club
Description:
Bribie Island is the only island on the Queensland coast that is connected to the mainland by
bridge, and the golf course is part of the $500m residential development of “Pacific Harbour”
that offers a relaxed and carefree lifestyle on the edge of the Moreton Bay Marine National
Park. Located only 45mins from Brisbane and 30mins from the Sunshine Coast, the Pacific
Harbour Golf & CC is the centerpiece of the residential development. Designed by Ross
Watson, the course is exciting to play for all levels. It features two nine-hole loops, formal and
beach bunkers and over 20 reflective lakes. Pandanus Palms surround each green. There are
a number of island greens and extensive natural flora. The 8th hole holds the title of the longest
bunker in the Southern Hemisphere running from the forward tee to beyond the green. Open to
public 7 days a week. Soft spikes are preferred and neat dress code applies. Competition is
Wednesday, Sunday 7am – 11.30am (AGU/WGA Handicap). Bookings are essential.
