Federal Golf Club
Description:
Federal golf course was designed in 1946 by Prosper Ellis. It’s a long and testing
championship layout to delight and challenge all golfers. Federal is fully irrigated tee to green,
and features undulating fairways, Bent grass greens and Couch grass fairways. Noted for its
natural flora with majestic eucalypts bordering pristine fairways, native birds and kangaroos are
a feature. A strict dress code applies and short socks are permitted. Competitions held
Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays (visitors after 3.30pm). Ladies Competition held on
Tuesdays (visitors after 12.30pm). Visitors are welcome. Corporate and social bookings can be
made on Mondays and Thursdays. Bookings are essential. The course has played host to four
NSW PGAs.
