Duntryleague Golf Club


Duntryleague golf course is a par 72 18 hole course featuring fairways of South African couch
that are fully watered, undulating and tree lined. The greens are Bent grass, while 168 different
types of tree, European and native can be found throughout the layout. There are also bunkers
and two dams to negotiate. Accuracy a premium off the tee and on certain holes is is important
to keep the ball below the hole. Soft spikes are required and a neat dress code applies.
Members Competition held on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Ladies Competition held on
Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mixed Competition held on Sundays. Visitors are welcome in all
competitions. Social play is available all other times and bookings are advised. The course has
hosted the Australian junior championships, NSW amateur 2001 championships and NSW
veteran’s championships.

Stay and Play


The historic Duntryleague guesthouse is situated in the botanical gardens setting of the
Duntryleague’s prestigious 18 hole championship golf course. Built in 1876 for local
businessman James Dalton, the building now offers 14 accommodation rooms, all with
ensuite bathrooms. Accommodation in this 19th century mansion is in four categories, from
original master suites (Mansion rooms) to smaller guest rooms (Standard rooms). Many of the
rooms are multi-bedded and suit the needs of families and groups. All room rates include
continental breakfast and a cooked breakfast is available for an additional charge on
Saturdays and Sundays.

All guest rooms have been upgraded with new bedding in each of the rooms with modernised
furniture including work desks. Painting and refurbishing of the guest rooms has started taking
