Barnbougle Dunes winds through towering coastal dunes along one of Tasmania’s pristine
beaches presenting golfers with a true sea-side links experience. Course designers, Tom Doak
and Mike Clayton, used the natural undulations of the spectacular stretch of coastline to
produce 18 wonderful golf holes to challenge and entertain golfers of all abilities. Located 1
hour from Launceston, the coastal setting provides a rich tapestry of native flora and fauna
from local birdlife to the resident wallabies. Open everyday except for Christmas. Soft spikes
only. Bookings are essential.

With dramatic golf course views, the Barnbougle cottages are reminiscent of the
iconic beach boxes at Brighton Beach in Victoria, but of course much more spacious inside.
Designed specifically for a foursome of golfers, with two rooms and a modern
bathroom, the patio is the best place to relax and take in the breathtaking sea
views as well as golf course vistas.
Only a short stroll to the clubhouse and the first tee, as a guest you have easy
access to a welcoming restaurant, snack bar and lounge.
Offering the unique charm and style of the Tasmanian northeast, all rooms feature
